Magic Mirror will unfold in two historic venues on Hydra Island, Greece, between 17 June and 21 July 2024. The exhibition showcases the artist’s ability to reflect, transform, and distort reality.
“Magic Mirror” features works by Emma Ainala, Chloe & Alexis Akrithakis, Loukia Alavanou, Pilar Albarracin, Belkıs Balpınar, Burçak Bingöl, Lindsey Calla, The Callas (Lakis & Aris Ionas), St Clair Cemin, Charlotte Colbert, Simon Demeuter, Lionel Esteve, Helen Flockhart, Hilary Galbreaith, Marianna Hatzinikolaou, Hippolyte Hentgen, Maria Joannou, Alison Jones, Iasonas Kampanis, Irini Karayannopoulou, Marin Kasimir, Peggy Kouroumalos, Jacqueline Lentzou, Natalia Manta, Didier Marcel, Theo Michael, Robert Montgomery, Mathieu Renard, Philip Tsiaras, Andreas Vais, Xenia Vitos, William Wegman, Janet Werner, and Erwin Wurm.
ISTANBUL’74 is pleased to announce its participation in the Magic Mirror exhibition on Hydra Island. As the VIP Preview partner, ISTANBUL’74 will showcase works by pioneering artkilim artist Belkıs Balpınar, conceptual artist Burçak Bingöl, and artist-poet Robert Montgomery.
Presented by Wilhelmina’s Art Gallery, “Magic Mirror” is an exhibition curated by Wilhelmina von Blumenthal & Irini Karayannopoulou.
