Presented by ISTANBUL’74, and co-curated by UTÖPIA, select works from FLAGS FOR FUTURE are showcased throughout Summer 2024 at The Beach of MOMO Dalyan after seven successful editions in Istanbul, Göcek, St. Moritz, Hydra Island, Arkansas, St. Barths and Lecce.

FLAGS FOR FUTURE is a project that paves the way for creating awareness to form new connections within ourselves. Taking inspiration from the unifying power of art, we take the flag as a medium for future hopes and thoughts to be set free to float in the skies.

The exhibit aims to deconstruct the traditional concept of a flag and explore a new understanding of this medium, viewing it as a canvas for unity, collective thought, and artistic expression. Brought to life using upcycled plastic waste fabric, artist-designed flags raise awareness about plastic pollution in our oceans.

Founded in 2016, FLAGS FOR FUTURE has since grown into an international platform, with over 40 artists participating in a collective message of hope and positive change.
