10 UNDER 40 

The exhibition features 10 artists under the age of 40 from multiple disciplines and backgrounds, producing some of the strongest and relevant examples of artworks through various mediums. Artists from each continent were selected and the exhibit will showcase video, photography, sculpture, works on paper, paintings and mixed media installations. The artists featured in the show are: Diana Al-Hadid, Volkan Aslan, Natalie Frank, Gözde İlkin, JR, Idris Khan, Takuro Kuwata, Angel Otero, Robin Rhode and Mehmet Ali Uysal and the show is curated by Isabella Icoz.

For this show, ISTANBUL’74 has been in collaboration with the leading galleries from Turkey and all over the world such as; Victoria Miro, Galerie Perrotin, Marianne Boesky, Lehmann Maupin, Tomio Koyama, Pi Artworks and .artSümer.

ISTANBUL’74 IS BRINGING TOGETHER 10 ARTISTS FOR THE GROUP SHOW ENTITLED “10 UNDER 40”

ISTANBUL’74 will present “10 UNDER 40″, a group show of 10 artists all under the age of 40 years old. The show will be on view between the dates October 31st and December 7th at ISTANBUL’74’s gallery in Karakoy.

The exhibition features 10 artists under the age of 40 from multiple disciplines and backgrounds, producing some of the strongest and relevant examples of artworks through various mediums.
