After completing her education; including St. George’s Austrian High School, Koc University and UC Berkeley, Zeynep Moroglu took part in variety of financial institutions in Turkey and abroad. Zeynep Moroglu started in the food and beverage sector in 2004 as the cofounder of the brand “biriki” and she went back to San Francisco to study pastry. After her pastry education, she worked in New York in this field. In 2009, after she turned to Istanbul, she worked as a consultant for several companies; by the end of that year, Zeynep Moroglu entered the food and beverage sector with Esra Muslu, Menderes Utku and Muzaffer Yildirim, whom she’s still partners with. These four partners gave the name “Nupeople” to their group and created brands like auf, kauf, base, backyard, and unter alongside their brands Nupera and Nuteras.

Being able to bake and cook for someone I respect and admire the most.. It was during those times when he could not eat anything because he was really
ill….

I love baking bread!!!!!

San Francisco and Paris … baker’s heaven!

Blessed, hyper, hectic.

Hearing my father was healthy again.

It is a cliché to say all hard working chefs but there are some out there who took the time to teach me about this profession: Michael Kalanty, Amy
Sherber, Johnny Uzzini and the list goes on…

I hope as a good hearted, hard working, successful and fair person…

The Offspring – You’re gonna go far kid. Makes me want to get up and run.
What is your favorite restaurant?
I think at the moment it is Prune & Momofuku in NYC.
What would we find in your refrigerator right now?
Mustard and egg whites, Diet Coke, San Pellegrino..
Is there a creative activity that you want to pursue that you have been postponing? What is it?
I just want to start doing sports again as I found out that was the thing that made me happy, energetic and creative.
What is the trait you most deplore about yourself?
I deplore that I sunk myself in work and use the cliché of not having time for the things and people I care about!
