Federica Perazzoli (b. 1966, Sorengo, Switzerland; lives and works in Milan and Lugano) is a Swiss Post-War and contemporary artist. She works with textures and fabrics in order to create environmental installations able to transform the domestic space into an artwork itself. She also experiments with large-scale painting, specifically created to provide a continuity between different languages and narratives, while underlying the art and life relationship. From mainstream infotainment, the artist filters suggestions she eventually transforms into suspended, almost metaphysical, but above all silent or with a very muffled sound, scenes.
