Cristián Mohaded (b. 1980, Catamarca, Argentina; lives and works in Buenos Aires and Milan) is an Argentine artist and designer born in the countryside. He is a graduate of the National University of Córdoba, and today he shares his time between Buenos Aires and Milan. As a designer, he has always worked closely with artisans from his home country, exploring traditions, crafts, and local culture, blurring the line between design and art. Cristián also works internationally as an independent designer in the fields of furniture, lighting, products, and installation. From private commissions to industrial companies, he is dedicated to developing and designing objects with a strong focus on materiality, artisanal techniques, and production processes. Throughout his career as a designer, he has also won several design awards and special mentions and has participated in numerous national and international fairs and exhibitions.
